Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge - Springfield, MA

This Per Diem opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead operations in a specialty home infusion pharmacy environment. The role is based in Springfield, MA, with a consistent daytime schedule, providing an excellent fit for candidates with PIC experience looking to make an impact in a new, low-volume pharmacy setting.

Location: Springfield, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 8 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations and compliance.
• Maintain regulatory standards by officially hanging the pharmacy license.
• Manage the pharmacy's daily functions, ensuring patient safety and quality service within a specialty home infusion context.
• Support establishment efforts of this new pharmacy until the permanent PIC is appointed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, preferably within home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings.
• Active Massachusetts pharmacy license required.
• Strong understanding of specialty infusion pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
