Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge in Springfield, MA

This opportunity calls for a Pharmacist in Charge to provide expert leadership at a specialty home infusion pharmacy. The role involves overseeing pharmacy operations in a newly established, low-volume environment. This position requires dedication Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for an 8-week period.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Establishing pharmacy protocols and hanging the pharmacy license.
• Managing daily pharmacy operations and overseeing medication dispensing.
• Supporting the transition process until a permanent PIC is selected.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a new pharmacy setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
