Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge - Springfield, MA

A specialty home infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a per diem role lasting approximately 8 weeks. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a new, low-volume pharmacy and maintain regulatory compliance while the search for a permanent PIC continues.

Location: Springfield, MA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing the daily pharmacy operations
• Maintain and display PIC license as required by regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy laws and internal protocols
• Support pharmacy staff and contribute to a smooth opening phase for the new facility
• Manage tasks related to specialty home infusion processes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacy license required
• Previous experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge is essential
• Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulatory compliance and operational standards
• Ability to work independently and maintain high professional standards
