A specialty home infusion pharmacy in Springfield, MA, is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a per diem role. This opportunity involves leading a new, low-volume pharmacy by serving as the official PIC and maintaining the pharmacy license until a permanent candidate is appointed. The position is ideal for an experienced pharmacist who wants to contribute to establishing a specialty infusion pharmacy environment on a temporary basis.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • 8-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Maintain the pharmacy license and uphold operational standards
  • Oversee pharmacy functions in a specialized home infusion setting
  • Collaborate with the team to support pharmacy start-up activities during the transitional period

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is required
  • Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy highly preferred
  • Active Massachusetts pharmacy license is mandatory
