Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Springfield, Massachusetts

This opportunity is for a Pharmacist in Charge to oversee operations at a specialty home infusion pharmacy in Springfield, MA. This per diem position offers a daytime schedule, providing oversight and ensuring compliance while the pharmacy transitions to permanent leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), taking accountability for the pharmacy’s regulatory compliance and operational standards.
• Officially hang your pharmacy license at the new facility to meet state requirements.
• Manage pharmacy processes in a low-volume, specialty home infusion setting.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth daily operations Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacy license.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge.
• Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a new pharmacy environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Duration: 8 weeks, supporting the pharmacy until a permanent candidate is secured.
