An interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) opportunity is available for experienced professionals holding multiple state licenses. This position supports a 340B pharmacy setting, stepping in when a PIC resigns, with a contract duration of 3-6 months. Candidates must be prepared to work onsite with schedules during days and afternoons.

Location: Staten Island, NY (onsite, with potential assignments in CA)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill all Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and overseeing daily pharmacy operations.
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff and workflow.
  • Maintain adherence to 340B program guidelines and policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active pharmacist licenses in multiple states, ideally including but not limited to: AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV.
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge.
  • Strong knowledge of 340B pharmacy operations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in an interim role and versatility to handle multiple locations as needed.

Schedule:

  • Day and afternoon shifts tailored to operational needs.
