Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Sun Valley, Nevada

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to serve as Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a retail pharmacy located in Sun Valley, NV. This 6 to 8-week contract position offers a chance to step into a leadership role starting Monday, May 11th, with a schedule designed to provide consistent weekday and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Assume full Pharmacist in Charge duties as required by Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with an experienced technician team to support smooth workflow.
• Manage inventory, medication dispensing, and patient safety protocols.
• Provide leadership and act as the primary contact for the pharmacy team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license with Nevada Board of Pharmacy credentials.
• Previous experience fulfilling Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities.
• Strong leadership abilities and knowledge of regulatory compliance.
• Capability to guide and support a professional pharmacy technician team.
