This role serves as the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) at a specialized pharmacy focusing on HIV/AIDS medications, operating Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The position requires a candidate with 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience and a solid foundation in HIV/AIDS pharmacotherapy. While expert-level knowledge is not mandatory at the start, there is a willingness to provide training to enhance expertise in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory standards and Board of Pharmacy requirements.
  • Serve as a clinical pharmacist in an innovative setting, contributing to the development and implementation of new systems and processes that improve patient services.
  • Promote collaboration and communication among colleagues to share knowledge and enhance clinical services.
  • Uphold and embody pharmacy core values and mission to provide exceptional care and service.
  • Adapt effectively to a dynamic environment, ensuring the best experience for patients and a positive workplace for staff.
  • Manage a collaborative organizational structure with accountability across multiple leaders.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, conferences, and training as needed.
  • Drive consistency in applying best practices, procedures, and policies across all locations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of recent pharmacy management experience in retail or specialty settings (10+ years preferred).
  • Strong foundation in HIV/AIDS medications; willingness to undergo further training.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse cultures and lifestyles.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced work environment.
  • Pharmacy experience outside of hospital settings.
