An opportunity exists for a Pharmacist-In-Charge with expertise in HIV/AIDS medications to lead pharmacy operations within an innovative clinical environment. This role requires a strong foundation in HIV/AIDS pharmaceutical therapies, with additional training provided to further develop expertise. The position focuses on improving and implementing cutting-edge pharmacy services that positively impact patient lives, particularly within vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring compliance with board regulations and overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and share innovative clinical services and best practices.
- Uphold core pharmacy values and organizational mission in daily operations.
- Adapt to a dynamic environment, fostering a positive experience for both patients and staff.
- Facilitate a collaborative work environment where staff report to multiple leaders, maintaining consistency in policies and procedures across locations.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, including training sessions and conferences, to stay current with industry developments.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years retail or specialty pharmacy management experience as a PIC; 10+ years highly preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications is required; willingness to expand expertise through training.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultures and lifestyles.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience limited to hospital settings is not aligned with this role.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
