An HIV/AIDS Specialty Pharmacist In Charge position is available for a direct hire opportunity located in Tacoma, WA. This role offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) in a collaborative and innovative setting focused on improving patient care and expanding cutting-edge clinical services.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of recent pharmacy management experience in retail, specialty, or community settings, with a preference for those with up to 10 years of leadership expertise. A strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications is essential, along with the willingness to further develop specialized expertise through training. This role requires someone with excellent communication and leadership skills who can effectively work with diverse cultures and lifestyles, and thrive in a high-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy requirements.
- Lead as Pharmacist-In-Charge, driving innovative clinical services and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members and other locations to promote consistent processes and policies.
- Support a dynamic, multi-leader organizational structure focused on accountability and growth.
- Represent the pharmacy by attending internal and external meetings, trainings, and conferences.
- Uphold and promote core values and the mission to enhance patient and employee experiences.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of pharmacy management experience in retail or specialty pharmacy; 10 years highly preferred.
- Strong foundation in HIV/AIDS medication therapies with eagerness to expand expertise.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment and keep pace in a busy setting.
- Experience outside of hospital-only environments is required.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
