Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Texarkana, Texas

A specialty home infusion pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with dual licensure in Texas and California to oversee pharmacy operations for an 8-week contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for a seasoned pharmacist with expertise in specialty infusion services and leadership experience within a home infusion setting.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure safe, effective dispensing of specialty and home infusion medications.
• Manage inventory control and maintain quality standards for all pharmacy processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, staff, and patients to optimize medication therapy.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacy licenses in both Texas and California are required.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, preferably within specialty infusion or home infusion pharmacy environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations, regulations, and infusion therapy.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts, 8 hours per day
