Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Toms River, New Jersey

A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist In Charge to oversee daily operations at a retail pharmacy. This direct hire role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced workweek with consistent hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy staff in the accurate filling and dispensing of medications.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including adherence to quality standards set by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy.
• Lead and manage pharmacy operations with a strong focus on customer service and efficiency.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance pharmacy workflows.
• Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment through vigilant oversight.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support decision-making in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in retail pharmacy management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
• Skilled in gathering and analyzing information to exercise sound and accurate judgment.
