Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Toms River, New Jersey

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist In Charge to lead daily pharmacy operations within a retail setting. The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, supporting the needs of patients and healthcare providers.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient and accurate dispensing of medications
• Supervise and guide pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and compliance
• Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including standards set by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
• Maintain high-quality customer service and patient care
• Recommend process improvements to enhance pharmacy operations
• Analyze information and exercise sound judgment to solve problems effectively
• Work with limited supervision, adapting quickly in a dynamic environment

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Current New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license
• Minimum of two (2) years retail pharmacy management experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities
• Proven capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to gather and analyze information accurately and recommend alternative solutions

Location:

Compensation:

• $135,000 to $145,000 annually
