Pharmacist in Charge - Toms River, NJ

This opportunity is for a Retail Pharmacist in Charge role located in Toms River, NJ, with a direct hire placement. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
• Current New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of two years of retail pharmacy management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience recommending and implementing process improvements.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Skillful in gathering and analyzing information while exercising sound judgment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Supervise pharmacy staff involved in filling and dispensing medications.
• Maintain strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations as well as quality standards set by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge and leadership in the specialty infusion pharmacy sector.
• Foster a strong customer service orientation with a commitment to excellence in all pharmacy activities.

This direct hire role offers a competitive compensation range of $135,000 to $145,000 annually.
