A leading compounding pharmacy is seeking a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and operational leadership at its facility in Albany, Ohio. This onsite role offers a stable, growth-oriented environment with strong leadership exposure in a nationally recognized organization. Candidates open to relocation will be supported with a relocation package, and there is potential for a temp-to-perm traveler arrangement for the ideal fit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and other state licenses as needed
- Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations
- Maintain pharmacist and facility licensure across multiple states
- Lead and represent the facility during Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA inspections
- Develop, review, and maintain SOPs and training materials
- Oversee regulatory reporting, recalls, complaints, and quality investigations
- Provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams
- Manage QA/QC activities including batch record review, deviations, investigations, environmental monitoring
- Lead validation efforts for equipment, systems, and processes
- Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and review change controls, labeling, and product reviews
- Oversee vendor qualification, incoming materials, and reserve samples
- Perform root cause analyses and present quality metrics to leadership
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience with multi-state licensure preferred
- BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP, FDA, DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding
- Demonstrated ability to lead inspections and regulatory audits
- Strong communication skills for clear presentations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Experience:
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
- 7+ years in quality or compliance roles with increasing responsibility
