Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Westfield, Massachusetts

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge seeking a per diem role within a specialty home infusion pharmacy environment. The position involves overseeing pharmacy operations at a new, low-volume site, providing essential oversight and leadership while the organization searches for a permanent candidate.

Location: Westfield, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 8 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
• Establish pharmacy license credentials by officially hanging the PIC license on-site.
• Manage pharmacy operations and maintain quality standards in a specialty home infusion setting.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support service delivery during the interim period.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacy license required.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, preferably within home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy practice.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and pharmacy operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during business hours.
