Pharmacist in Charge in Wilmington, DE

A home infusion pharmacy with multiple locations nationwide is seeking a Lead Pharmacist in Charge to join their New Castle, DE facility in a direct hire capacity. • On-site in New Castle, DE

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical support managing specialty and infusion therapies.
• Compound, dispense, and oversee the preparation of complex medications in an infusion setting.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and insurers to ensure smooth medication delivery and administration.
• Educate patients on medication use, side effects, and self-administration, especially for home infusion therapies.
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations, keeping accurate and thorough patient records.
• Support a safe and compliant pharmacy environment, upholding the highest standards of practice.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Delaware; willingness to obtain additional state licenses with the company covering licensure fees.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in infusion pharmacy.
• Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or pharmacy manager within infusion settings is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy system is beneficial.
