Pharmacist | Incline Village, Nevada

An opportunity is available for a night shift pharmacist at a 175-bed hospital in Incline Village, NV, supporting a 13+ week contract assignment. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist experienced in hospital settings who is comfortable working nights and managing key responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Location:

• Night shift, 7 on/7 off schedule
• 10-hour shifts
• Based in Incline Village, NV

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilize pharmacokinetics to adjust medication therapies appropriately
• Work with hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Nevada pharmacist license
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment
• Strong clinical knowledge and effective communication skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work overnight shifts consistently
