Location:

• Independence, MO (Kansas City suburbs)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles in patient care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize systems such as Meditech and Pyxis for daily tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Missouri
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Retail pharmacists with a strong desire to transition into hospital practice are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
