Pharmacist – Hospital Opportunity

We are seeking a Pharmacist for a community medical center in Independence, MO! This is a great full time opportunity for a pharmacist looking to gain valuable hospital experience in a supportive clinical setting. Retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply!

Location: Independence, MO (Kansas City suburbs)

Position Details:

• Duration: 26 weeks with possible extension 

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

• Candidates: Local and travel pharmacists welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians

• Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing

• Collaborate with physicians on medication management

Requirements:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred

• Strong communication and clinical skills

• Retail pharmacy experience welcome!
