A reputable pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a 2nd shift position in a closed door mail order environment. This opportunity offers a temp-to-direct hire arrangement, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and occasional Saturdays as needed, located in Indianapolis, IN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications based on prescription orders.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Review and interpret physician orders for safe and effective therapy.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications and duplications.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including medication histories and interventions.
• Adhere to all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage proper medication storage and handle expired or damaged products.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and promoting pharmacy services.

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree required.
• Indiana Pharmacy License required.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience.
• California Pharmacy License preferred or willingness to reciprocate (client will assist with costs).
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
