Staff Pharmacist

Soliant is hiring an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a closed-door mail order pharmacy setting. This evening shift opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide strong leadership while supervising pharmacy technicians. The right candidate will bring strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care.

Employment Type: 13+ Week Contract to Hire
Work Hours: Monday – Friday | 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Schedule Notes: Possible Saturdays based on business needs  

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently dispense medications per prescription orders
• Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, and duplications
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records, medication histories, and interventions
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians on 2nd shift
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws
• Oversee proper medication storage and handling procedures
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking supplies
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Resolve customer concerns and provide excellent customer service
• Stay current with pharmacy practice updates and regulations

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree required
• Active Indiana Pharmacist License required
• Active California Pharmacist License preferred, or willingness to reciprocate for California licensure (assistance provided)
• 1–3 years of recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Supervisory or leadership experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel up to 5% as needed
