Per Diem Pharmacist in Ingleside, TX

This per diem pharmacist opportunity requires a keen attention to detail and strong customer service skills while ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing. Working under direct supervision, you will play a critical role in the efficient delivery and counseling of medications to patients.

Location: Ingleside, TX
Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  Term of Assignment: August 27-28 and September 3-4

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and provide guidance on medication use
• Counsel patients regarding their medication regimens and answer inquiries
• Manage stock, including controlled substances, maintaining accurate records and inventories
• Address patient concerns and resolve issues, collaborating with third-party coverage as needed
• Utilize Pioneer software for daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under supervision
