A pharmacy professional is needed for a per diem role located in Ingleside, TX, with specific shifts on August 27-28 and September 3-4. This opportunity offers an engaging environment to provide expert medication management and patient counseling under the guidance of a pharmacy manager.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Dispensing medications with accuracy and ensuring safe delivery to customers
- Counseling patients on medication regimens to promote adherence and wellness
- Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational protocols
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and controlled substance records
- Troubleshooting patient issues and clarifying third-party insurance coverage
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Texas, free of restrictions
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in retail pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred
