Per Diem Pharmacist in Irving, TX

A per diem Pharmacist opportunity is available within a retail and long-term care pharmacy setting in Irving, TX. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care while verifying prescriptions and supporting immunization services in a dynamic environment. The candidate will have access to ample technician and register support, allowing for focused patient-centered care.

Schedule:

• June 13th: 7:45am – 6:15pm
• June 18th: 2:00pm – 7:15pm
• June 19th: 2:00pm – 7:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify 150-200 prescriptions daily with accuracy and attention to detail
• Administer immunizations in compliance with state regulations
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas Pharmacist (RPh) license
• Current immunization certification
• Prior experience working in retail pharmacy settings, demonstrating knowledge of prescription processing and patient interaction
• Competency with computerized pharmacy systems, preferably Computer Rx
