Sterile Compounding Pharmacist

Sterile Compounding Pharmacist  –  13 Week Contract

We’re looking for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist who can start ASAP and is comfortable working in a home infusion setting, located in Irving, Texas! Irving has a wonderful and convenient mix of city amenities, entertainment, dining, and easy access to the greater Dallas area! 

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 13-week contract

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare, verify, and dispense sterile medications following USP standards and pharmacy regulations
• Evaluate patients for home infusion therapy
• Develop and adjust medication therapy plans
• Review labs and apply pharmacokinetic principles
• Educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
• Monitor patient outcomes and help ensure continuity of care
• Provide drug information and maintain accurate documentation
• Support medication safety and quality assurance

Requirements:

• PharmD or graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License
• At least 1 year of sterile IV compounding experience, OR qualifying pharmacy experience/residency/APPE
• Strong knowledge of home infusion pharmacy practices
• Comfortable interpreting laboratory values and using pharmacokinetic principles
• Strong communication, patient counseling & customer service skills
