An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations at a retail location in Elmira, NY. This permanent position offers a structured schedule and a chance to contribute to delivering quality pharmaceutical services in a community setting.

Location: Elmira, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM - 5 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM - 2 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales, ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand, and supporting profit optimization.
• Weigh, measure, and compound medications accurately, dispense prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs, and offer guidance to self-medicating patients.
• Maintain strong communication with healthcare and insurance professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Administer patient immunizations regularly to promote community health.
• In the pharmacy manager’s absence, oversee scheduling, performance recognition, discipline, and work assignments to ensure efficient pharmacy operations aligned with company goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Current New York Pharmacist license is a must.
• Current New York Immunization license preferred.
• Availability to start immediately is essential.
