Pharmacist | Ithaca, New York

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available in Elmira, NY for a licensed Pharmacist ready to contribute expertise in medication dispensing and patient care. This position offers a permanent schedule within a well-established grocery store setting, providing an environment to apply your pharmacy skills in direct support of community health.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM – 2 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to monitor inventory levels by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs and optimize store profitability.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and compound medications, dispensing both prescription and non-prescription drugs while advising patients on appropriate medication use.
• Administer patient immunizations regularly, contributing to public health initiatives.
• In the pharmacy manager’s absence, oversee scheduling, performance recognition, discipline, and task delegation to ensure smooth operations aligned with company goals.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active New York State Pharmacist license.
• Ideally holds a New York State Immunization Certification.
• Ability to start immediately and maintain a strong commitment to patient care and operational excellence.
