Pharmacist - Jackson, MI

A pharmacy role is available in an inpatient hospital setting in Jackson, MI, offering a 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire. • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to inpatients.
• Utilize Cerner Med Manager for accurate order entry.
• Manage medication automation systems, specifically Pyxis.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide professional guidance on medication use to clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in Michigan is required.
• Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy.
• Proficiency with Cerner Med Manager and Pyxis automation systems.
• Ability to work shifts primarily on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 7 pm, with some additional weekday shifts from 7 am to 10 pm as needed.
• Willingness to work locally in Jackson, MI; travel candidates with housing support will be considered.
