A small hospital in Florida is seeking a reliable Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for an immediate opening. This 13-week contract offers a steady Monday–Friday day shift schedule and is ideal for a pharmacist who is comfortable taking on PIC responsibilities in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Leadership experience is welcomed, but this role is best suited for a pharmacist ready to step into oversight duties without the need for extensive director-level experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations as Pharmacist-in-Charge
  • Perform order verification and ensure accurate medication dispensing
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and hospital policies
  • Maintain proper medication storage, safety, and workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License (required)
  • Previous inpatient or hospital experience preferred
  • Willingness to take on PIC responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Work Hours:

  • Day Shift: Monday – Friday
