A thriving independent retail pharmacy in Hempstead, NY is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to cover shifts on October 1st, 2nd, and 5th. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all standard independent retail pharmacy duties
• Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently (averaging 300 prescriptions weekly)
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff to provide exceptional customer service
• Arrive by 10:45 AM and stay until 7:15 PM daily to facilitate smooth shift transitions, including closing responsibilities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License required
• Active NPI number mandatory
• Immunization certification preferred
• Proven experience in community or retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy system strongly preferred
• Spanish language fluency is a plus but not required, as primary translation support is provided by a bilingual technician

• October 1, 2, and 5
• Hours: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
