This per diem pharmacist position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a busy retail pharmacy environment in Janesville, WI. The role involves ensuring safe and effective medication dispensing while providing knowledgeable counseling to patients. The pharmacy utilizes the RX 30 computer system and handles approximately 100 prescriptions daily, supported by a team of two technicians and one cashier.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check prescriptions for safety and appropriateness
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow efficiency
• Use RX 30 software to manage prescription records and inventory

Schedule:

• March 2-7
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
