Pharmacist - Jbsa Lackland, Texas

Provide essential pharmacy support as a PRN Staff Pharmacist at a newly opened facility specializing in specialty infusion and hospice/palliative care patients. This position involves day shift coverage in San Antonio, Texas, and offers an opportunity to contribute to compassionate care within a small, focused pharmacy team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy coverage during vacations and planned absences of the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
• Operate within a low-volume, specialty infusion and hospice pharmacy environment.
• Participate in a training day prior to your first coverage shift to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Deliver patient-focused, compassionate pharmaceutical care tailored to hospice and palliative care populations.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Experience in specialty or infusion pharmacy highly preferred.
• Hospice or palliative care pharmacy experience is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work reliably on a PRN (as needed) basis for the remainder of 2026.
• Comfortable working within a small pharmacy team.
• Local to San Antonio, TX, eliminating the need for travel accommodations.
• Willingness to attend a training day before initial coverage.
