Pharmacist - Jbsa Lackland, Texas

Provide essential pharmacy support as a PRN Staff Pharmacist in a specialized setting serving hospice and palliative care patients. This contract opportunity offers day shift coverage to assist during planned absences with a pharmacy newly established in San Antonio, Texas.

Location:

• San Antonio, Texas (JBSA Lackland area)

Duration:

• Through the remainder of 2026

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts (exact hours to be determined based on pharmacy schedule)
• PRN basis for coverage and standby support

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacist services covering vacations and planned time away for the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Support a small pharmacy team managing specialty infusion and hospice/palliative care patients
• Participate in a mandatory training day prior to first coverage shift to ensure smooth integration and compliance
• Maintain compassionate, patient-focused care in a low-volume, specialty pharmacy environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or infusion pharmacy highly preferred
• Hospice or palliative care pharmacy experience strongly desirable
• Ability to work effectively within a small, focused team
• Reliable availability on a PRN basis through the end of 2026
• Local to San Antonio or surrounding area; no travel required
