A rewarding opportunity is available for a Community Pharmacist to contribute expertise within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operating under the 340B program. This role emphasizes delivering compassionate pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population, including a significant number of Spanish-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with NJ state laws
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage pharmacy operations within the FQHC/340B framework
• Utilize pharmacy management systems, with exposure to Micromerchant or PrimeRx being a plus
• Support efforts to address the needs of Spanish-speaking patients, enhancing access and understanding

Desired Qualifications:

• Active NJ Pharmacist license required
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings essential
• Background in FQHC or 340B program preferred but not mandatory
• Bilingual skills in Spanish highly preferred to engage effectively with diverse patients
• Familiarity with Micromerchant or PrimeRx pharmacy systems is advantageous
