A hospital in Chicago, IL, is seeking a dedicated Night Pharmacist for a contract position starting ASAP. This role offers a 7-on, 7-off night schedule, from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am, for a duration of 13 weeks or more. The position focuses on pediatric care within a busy hospital environment, requiring expertise in weight-based dosing and familiarity with pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and review medications during night shifts, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
• Manage pediatric medication dosing, particularly weight-based calculations, with precision.
• Utilize electronic medical records and pharmacy systems including EPIC and Omnicell.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacist license.
• Strong hospital pharmacy experience with a focus on pediatric patients.
• Proficiency in pediatric dosing and comfort working with children’s medication needs.
• Experience using EPIC and Omnicell pharmacy IT systems preferred.
