Pharmacist in Jonesboro, AR

A clinical IV pharmacist position is available on a contract-to-hire basis for 3-6 months. This role demands strong clinical expertise in intravenous therapy and requires flexibility to assist as needed.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Every third weekend

Location:

• Jonesboro, AR

Responsibilities:

• Verify IV medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Potentially prepare IV compounds in the clean room
• Perform additional clinical pharmacy duties, including interpreting lab results
• Provide support as needed throughout the pharmacy team

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of current experience as an IV pharmacist
• Valid, unrestricted Arkansas pharmacist license
• Successful completion of thorough background check and drug screening
• Strong clinical skills, especially in lab result assessment
• Adaptable and willing to help in various pharmacy areas
