A community hospital with 200 beds in Florida is seeking a night shift pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to inpatient pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital environment supporting patient care overnight.

Duration: 13 weeks +
Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure smooth operations
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge to optimize patient medication therapy
• Provide clinical consultations and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
• Utilize hospital IT systems such as Meditech and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida pharmacist license
• Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Comfortable and willing to work night shifts
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
