Pharmacist - Jupiter, FL

A night shift pharmacist position is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Florida, offering a dynamic hospital inpatient environment. This 13-week contract opportunity starts ASAP and follows a 7 on, 7 off schedule, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Ideal candidates will have a Florida pharmacy license and experience working in a hospital inpatient setting, with openness to night shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Conducting pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosage adjustments
• Consulting and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication regimens
• Utilizing Meditech and Pyxis systems to manage pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Florida pharmacist license
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Comfortable working overnight hours and adapting to a 7 on/7 off rotation schedule
