A 250-bed community hospital located in the Kansas City, MO suburbs is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a contract position starting ASAP. Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Utilize pharmacokinetics principles to optimize drug therapy
- Consult regularly with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for efficient medication management
Schedule & Location:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Based in the Kansas City, MO suburbs
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Missouri Pharmacist license required
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech and Pyxis systems strongly desired
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with clinical teams
