Retail Pharmacist Outpatient Pharmacy

Soliant is seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a contract opportunity with an outpatient pharmacy setting in the Kansas City, Missouri area. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys direct patient interaction, prescription verification, and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Duration: 13+ Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Verify and check prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Accurately fill and dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians throughout daily workflow.
• Counsel patients regarding medications, proper usage, side effects, and treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with additional pharmacy duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Pharmacist license.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required.
• Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
