An overnight pharmacist position is available at a specialized women's healthcare facility, focusing on comprehensive pharmaceutical care across a broad patient age range from infants to adults. This contract role spans approximately 14 weeks, starting in early March, working a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage medication processes to promote optimal pharmaceutical care.
- Identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems ensuring patient safety.
- Verify medication doses based on patient-specific factors such as diagnosis, weight, allergies, and drug interactions.
- Accurately enter medication orders and ensure timely processing and delivery.
- Adhere to aseptic and infection control techniques in sterile product preparation.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain high standards of medication safety.
- Maintain required certifications, including annual aseptic technique and infection control proficiency.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably with pediatric patients.
- Active Texas pharmacist license.
- ACPE IV Certification.
- Strong knowledge of medication protocols and safety standards.
- Competency with electronic medical records, particularly EPIC.
