Pharmacist in Katy, TX

A leading hospital within a major Texas medical center is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support their inpatient pharmacy operations. This role is based at a large, busy 500+ bed facility known for delivering high-quality patient care. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule / Hours:

• 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Location:

• Katy, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with hospital policies and patient care instructions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management and patient safety
• Utilize electronic health records, preferably EPIC, to document and verify medication orders
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical recommendations as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Texas
• Texas IV certification required
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
