A pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide expert medication dispensing and patient counseling under the supervision of the pharmacy manager. This position supports safe and effective pharmaceutical care, responding to patient needs while managing inventory and compliance protocols.

Location:

• Katy, TX

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Per Diem (PRN coverage)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to all customers.
• Counsel patients regarding their medication regimens, ensuring understanding and adherence.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, following organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and controlled substance records.
• Resolve patient issues, including clarifying third-party insurance coverage.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail or 340B pharmacy environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and pharmaceutical best practices.
