Per Diem Pharmacist in Katy, TX

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Pharmacist offering PRN coverage in Houston, Texas. This per diem opportunity focuses on delivering safe, efficient medication dispensing and patient counseling during first-shift hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Location: Houston, Texas
Schedule:

• Per Diem (as needed)
• 1st Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  Term of Assignment: Starting February 16th

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the supervision of the pharmacy manager
• Counsel patients on medication usage, regimens, and possible side effects
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational protocols
• Maintain and monitor inventory, including controlled substances and stock records
• Assist in resolving patient issues and clarifying third-party coverage

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Texas
• Minimum of one year experience working in a retail or 340B pharmacy setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams
• Detail-oriented approach to medication dispensing and inventory management
