A part-time pharmacist position is available in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, offering a 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity. This role involves working first shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, primarily handling a daily script volume of 50-60 prescriptions within a pharmacy team consisting of four pharmacy technicians and one pharmacist. The pharmacist will utilize Pioneer Rx pharmacy software to perform daily tasks.
Key responsibilities include verifying non-sterile compounds and effectively communicating with patients and healthcare providers regarding medication therapies. While non-sterile compounding experience is preferred, training will be provided to candidates new to this area.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum of one year of experience practicing as a pharmacist
- Ability to verify compounded medications accurately
- Strong communication skills for patient and provider interactions
