Pharmacist - Kaysville, UT

A travel pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Ogden, UT, offering a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension. This role requires a licensed pharmacy technician with experience in pharmacy and prescription dispensing. Candidates must already hold a Utah pharmacy technician license due to the stringent licensing requirements in the state.

Schedule:

• 2nd shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with state regulations
• Managing medication inventory and assisting with medication recalls
• Collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
• Maintaining detailed and organized records
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current and valid Utah pharmacy technician license
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in hospital or retail pharmacy
• Knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively on a second-shift schedule and weekends as required
