Pharmacist in Kennett Square, PA

A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position lasting approximately 13 weeks. This role involves overseeing shift operations and personnel to ensure accurate and compliant fulfillment of prescription orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise fulfillment staff and manage operations during assigned shifts.
• Assist with shipping and handling of prescription orders as needed.
• Ensure prescriptions are processed accurately in accordance with prescriber and patient requirements.
• Confirm proper preparation techniques, documentation, and legal compliance for all pharmaceutical products dispensed.
• Provide patient care by assessing demographics, medication histories, and profiles.
• Develop and monitor patient therapeutic care plans to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Educate and counsel patients on drug therapies, including dosage, regimen, interactions, and over-the-counter products.
• Monitor therapy effectiveness and safety to optimize patient medication use.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and compounding principles.
• Excellent communication skills focused on patient education and team collaboration.

Location: Kennett Square, PA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
