Pharmacist | Kent, Washington

A skilled Pharmacist is needed to support specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy operations in Bellevue, WA, a suburb of Seattle. This 16-week contract role begins immediately, with weekday day-shift hours from Monday through Friday. Candidates should hold a Washington state pharmacist license and bring experience in infusion or oncology pharmacy practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using the Epic system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform final product verification checks before dispensing.
• Provide clinical guidance and respond to drug information inquiries.
• Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
• Adhere to USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile and hazardous drug compounding.
• Float to the Seattle location as needed to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Washington state pharmacist license.
• Experience in infusion and oncology pharmacy preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems.
• Strong knowledge of USP 797 and 800 standards.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, daytime shifts.
