Pharmacist - Kent, WA

This position is a contract role for a Pharmacist supporting specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy distribution functions in Bellevue, WA, a suburb of Seattle. The assignment begins ASAP and is expected to last 16+ weeks, with a Monday through Friday day shift schedule.

Responsibilities include verifying orders using Epic, conducting final product verification checks, responding to clinical questions and providing drug information, and overseeing pharmacy technician activities. The Pharmacist will play a critical role in ensuring safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of oncology infusion medications. There may be occasional need to float to Seattle locations as required.

Ideal candidates will hold a current Washington State Pharmacist license and have some experience in infusion or oncology pharmacy practice. Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems as well as a strong understanding of USP <797> and <800> sterile compounding standards are important for success in this role.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Washington State
• Experience in infusion and/or oncology pharmacy preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Knowledge of USP <797>/<800> sterile compounding standards
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively

Location: Bellevue, WA (with occasional float to Seattle)
