Schedule

• Monday to Friday day shifts (7 am, 8 am, or 9 am start times)
• Coverage every 4th weekend
• Potential option to transition to 2nd shift (11:45 am – 10:15 pm, 10-hour shifts)
• Flexibility in scheduling is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately according to hospital protocols and physician orders
• Monitor patient medication therapies and adjust as necessary in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Use Meditech and MedKeeper systems for managing orders and IV preparations
• Operate Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets efficiently
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and safety standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records, MedKeeper, and Omnicell systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Flexibility to adjust shifts and weekend coverage as needed
