Position Details
Setting: Outpatient Pharmacy
Duration: 13+ Week Contract Assignment
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
Fill and check prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy regulations and best practices
Counsel patients on medication therapy, side effects, and proper medication use
Answer medication-related questions from patients and healthcare providers
Required Qualifications
Active Arizona Pharmacist License
Minimum of 5 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
Strong prescription verification and dispensing experience
Preferred Qualifications
Outpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Experience working within a health-system pharmacy setting
Familiarity with high-volume prescription processing
