Per Diem Pharmacist | Kissimmee, Florida

This role involves providing pharmacist coverage in the Orlando, Florida area, working per diem with a contract assignment from March 13 and March 16 through March 20. The position requires working first-shift hours, Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Experience with Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counsel and advise patients regarding their medications and treatment regimens.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled substance records and inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance and third-party coverage details.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy settings.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is advantageous.
