Pharmacist needed to provide expert per diem coverage with a focus on specialty HIV/AIDS dispensing. This role supports a community pharmacy environment that serves the HIV/AIDS patient population requiring high levels of empathy, sensitivity, and professional care.

Location: Kissimmee, FL
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications with accuracy and attention to detail, especially HIV/AIDS specialty drugs
  • Build trust and maintain respectful, non-judgmental communication with patients living with HIV/AIDS
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members
  • Proactively identify and address pharmacy needs throughout the shift
  • Utilize QS1 software to manage prescriptions and pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience focusing on HIV/AIDS medications
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care to a sensitive patient population
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare providers
  • Licensed pharmacist in Florida with an active, clean license
  • Proficient in using QS1 pharmacy software
  • Positive attitude and commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance
