This per diem pharmacist opportunity supports a specialized patient population focused on HIV/AIDS care. The role involves providing knowledgeable, respectful, and empathetic pharmaceutical services at community pharmacies. Candidates with retail or specialty experience in HIV/AIDS dispensing will find this position rewarding and impactful.

Location: Kissimmee, FL (coverage also includes Plantation, FL area)

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • No weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications with accuracy and maintain comprehensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS pharmaceutical treatments.
  • Build trustful relationships with patients by demonstrating empathy, sensitivity, and respect toward the HIV/AIDS community.
  • Communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear, compassionate guidance.
  • Collaborate within the pharmacy team, proactively identifying and addressing workflow needs.
  • Utilize QS1 software efficiently to manage prescriptions and records.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Florida pharmacist license.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail or specialty experience, explicitly including HIV/AIDS medication dispensing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work respectfully within sensitive patient populations.
  • Software savvy, especially with QS1 pharmacy systems.
  • Commitment to punctuality and professional responsibility.
  • Positive attitude and pharmacy intuition to support daily operational needs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Updated resume highlighting HIV/AIDS dispensing experience.
  • Copy of current Florida pharmacist license.
