A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in the Boise, ID area. This 13+ week contract role offers daytime hours from Monday through Friday, providing a consistent schedule that supports work-life balance.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Consulting with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care
- Applying pharmacokinetic principles to tailor medication regimens
- Utilizing Cerner IT systems for documentation and workflow management
Ideal candidates will possess a current Idaho pharmacist license or have the ability to obtain it quickly. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is essential to confidently address the unique challenges of an inpatient rehab setting. Familiarity with Cerner is a strong advantage.
