A pharmacist opportunity is available at a tribal clinic pharmacy located within a health center in Washington State. This contract position offers a unique setting with close collaboration alongside physicians and nurses, creating a dynamic and patient-focused care environment.

Location: La Push, WA
Position Type: Contract (13 weeks +, temp-to-hire possible)
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and check prescribed medications accurately
• Counsel patients effectively regarding their medications
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Adapt to and utilize an on-site pharmacy IT system (MD Scripts) with provided training

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist holding any state license is eligible to apply
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage well with patients and healthcare team members
• Previous experience working in a tribal healthcare setting is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and use the clinic’s specific pharmacy IT system
