Position Details:

• Setting: Tribal clinic pharmacy within a health center
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks with potential to transition to a permanent role
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify, fill, and check medications
• Provide counseling and education to patients on medication use and safety
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize the on-site medication system (MD Scripts) — training provided for newcomers

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license from any jurisdiction accepted
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for patient and team interactions
• Previous experience working in Tribal healthcare settings preferred but not required
• Adaptability to learn and operate a unique pharmacy IT system
