A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a mail order and renal specialty pharmacy servicing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy and safety in medication dispensing through precise verification tasks.

Location:

• La Vergne, TN

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift: 1:30 PM to 10 PM
• 40 hours per week

Contract Details:

• 13 weeks with potential to transition to contract-to-hire
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification to confirm correct medication is matched with prescription orders
• Verify directions and prescription information against hard copy documentation
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system efficiently
• Maintain workflow accuracy without the need for on-call duties

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist licensure with applicable state authorization
• Experience with prescription verification and accuracy procedures
• Comfortable working afternoon shifts consistently
• Familiarity with Wellsky system or ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced mail order pharmacy environment
