Pharmacist Opportunity – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy

This role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, providing work-life balance and consistent hours. The position is a 13+ week contract with potential to transition to permanent status.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties, including the final verification of prescriptions
• Verify correct medication placement in bottles or boxes
• Confirm prescription directions and information against physical hard copies
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system for prescription processing
• Support a renal specialty and mail order pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
• Maintain high accuracy and compliance standards without on-call requirements

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials to practice in Tennessee
• Experience with mail order or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Strong attention to detail in medication verification and adherence to safety protocols
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems such as Wellsky is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced pharmacy environment
