A pharmacy role is available for an experienced pharmacist with a background in high-volume prescription processing. This position involves working in a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day. Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift
• 40 hours per week

Contract Details:

• 13+ weeks with potential contract-to-hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties
• Conduct final verification processes for accuracy and completeness
• Verify that medication in bottles or boxes matches prescription details
• Ensure directions and prescription information align with hard copy orders
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system (no automation involved)
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of safety and compliance

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Solid knowledge of prescription verification and pharmacy laws
• Ability to maintain thorough attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
• Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to a temp-only role
