A specialized role is available for a pharmacist with 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment. This position supports a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily, ensuring accuracy and quality in every prescription filled.

This contract opportunity involves working Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, covering a 40-hour workweek. The contract duration is 13 weeks with the potential to convert to a contract-to-hire position. The role requires a positive attitude and flexibility for a temporary-only assignment to maintain pharmacy operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Execute final verification processes to ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing
• Verify the correct medication, dosage, and directions against prescription hard copies
• Use Wellsky pharmacy order entry system (note: no automation involved)
• Comply with pharmacy protocols to maintain quality and patient safety
• No on-call duties required
