A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking experienced pharmacists to join their team on a contract basis. This role emphasizes finding the perfect fit, favoring quality candidates over quantity to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts Available:

• Two positions for 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• One position for 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification of medications ensuring accuracy
• Confirm that the medication in the bottle or box matches the prescription
• Verify directions and prescription information against hard copies
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system effectively (no automation involved)
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and medication accuracy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Open to a temporary-only role with no guaranteed transition to permanent employment
• Ability to start as soon as possible
